The heatwave warning went up to level 3 today the Met Office reported.  It could well be the hottest July on record.  The heat today when you are out in the sun feels more like 37C.  It reminders me of my holiday when i was in zante, Greece.  It was in the high 30s then too.  It is good t be working in an office which has air con.

 

The weather was kind to us at the weekend for our BBQ.  Everyone who was there enjoyed the occassion as we could spend time inside or out.  The veranda serve its purpose well and the BBQ food was enjoyed by all.  Young people play outside on the grass until it go dark.  We all then moved inside for more fun and games.  The evening went quickly and there was only a couple of prizes left on the Tombola. 

There are many signs of Global Warming and Climate Change but is it really happening.  There can be other reasons given that would explain Climiate Change.  One is it is just the way of the planet.  It is what suppose to happen.  Can the individual really help slow down the chnages.  I beleive an individual can help but not on their own.  That is why there is campaigns to get more and more people involve and having an interest on the environment.  It will take time but over the next 5-7 years hopefully we will all be environmentally aware and doing something about it individuallly and as a group of people.  Can things be explain by Global warming.  Can the increase in more extreme weather patterns in the world be down to global warming and climate change.  I beleive that many things have contributed to the problem and people are looking for something or someone to blame.  The environment and the planet will be safer if we all worked together on the lessing the impact we have on our local environment.

The New Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley film i saw last night was a long film but one you did not really notice.  There were some really funny moments in the film.  More crazy actions by Capt Sparrow.  I thought the film was great.  Can't wait to see the next as when this film finish a character from the last film showed up and he was supposed to of died in the last film.

The last few weeks the Venturer group has been enjoying a varied programme of games and discussion based on the global village 2006 event.  Which is taking part at the end of July.
